About
Scott Neidig
Web and application developer. I've built .NET applications since 2005, and I work directly with businesses and organizations on the systems they run on.
Background
Twenty years in .NET
I've been building web applications since 2005, most of that time in .NET and C#. A lot of it was agency work, building and maintaining sites and applications for clients: custom features, nopCommerce plugins, database work, version migrations, and production deployments. I'm a certified nopCommerce developer, and I've spent years working directly with the people whose systems I'm in.
That work has spanned the full stack, not just the front end. I've built REST API integrations, designed and maintained SQL Server databases, moved stores across major nopCommerce versions without breaking their custom logic, and run deployments through CI/CD. Earlier I did HIPAA security work, checking healthcare applications for vulnerabilities, and I bring that same care to anything handling real data.
I've worked both inside agencies and directly with the businesses and organizations running the systems. I also build and run my own software, including Jambalam, a subscription platform on nopCommerce and ASP.NET Core with an AI-powered import feature built on Azure. I use AI tools in my daily work to move faster, and I check everything they produce.
