Helix Linear makes precision linear motion components. I worked on their nopCommerce store: catalog additions, the Algolia search integration, and responsive front-end updates. The site has since been rebuilt on a different platform.

What went into it

  • Catalog indexing into Algolia

    Added and updated products in nopCommerce and coordinated the sync into the Algolia index, confirming new products were picked up during indexing rather than missing from search results.

  • Faceted search configuration

    Set up attributes for faceting in Algolia so the catalog could be filtered by the values that matter to buyers.

  • Search results filtering

    Worked on the filtering on the search results page, driven by the refinements coming back from Algolia.

  • Responsive front-end updates

    Implemented the creative team's responsive design work, particularly on the homepage.
